My question is "did anyone you know with these severe reactions fully recover and if so in what time frame? My daughters scared and so are we. Anyone?

Solodyn is a tetracycline class antibiotic medicine that contains minocycline. It fights bacteria in the body. Solodyn is only for the treatment of pimples and red bumps (non-nodular inflammatory lesions) that happen with moderate to severe acne in patients 12 years and older. The meds are very common too common in my opinion and our daughter although better is still dealing with lingering affects.
