No. M.S Contin is just Purdue Pharma's brand name for morphine e.r(extended release) Kadian is another brands name for morphine e.r. Some doctors & pain clinics prescribe Kadian because it may be harder to abuse because of the little pellets don't melt and abuse by snorting or I.V. But no there is no difference. I'm on 100mg M.S Contin one tab twice daily. Hope this helps.
