Are you trying to get pregnant? You may not have ovulated yet, but you may have. Your chances are good that you could be pregnant. If you are trying, it could take a few months though. If you are not trying, and dont want to be pregnant, then you need to talk to the doctor about another form of birth control because you are no longer protected.

Keep trying! It may take a few months but frequent sex during ovulation is the best way to get there! You can buy ovulation kits that can help you to determine when you are ovulating or you can check cervical mucus. I had a nun instructor who taught Anatomy & Physiology who taught me this and it does work but you have to be comfortable with your body. It is not much different than checking your Mirena strings. After your period, each morning after voiding and patting dry with TP, reach two fingers high into the vagina to the cervix and collect a bit of cervical mucus (almost as if you are feeling for your Mirena strings). Most of the time it will be cloudy white and thin, when it changes to look like egg whites-the same sticky viscosity and clear as a chickens egg white and is stretchy between your two fingers, you are at your most fertile and you should be having sex during this time.

There is about a 3 day period when you are at your most fertile and for some reason it seems easier to get pregnant when you dont want to! Try not to stress about it too much because stress seems to be detrimental to pregnancy (maybe that why unplanned pregancies happen-you get stressed AFTER the sex, not before like when you are desperately trying to be pregnant) Take your vitamins and try to eat right. It may take a bit for you to ovulate or you might ovulate right away. Good Luck!
