Dear, Yes mineral oil like castor oil can evacuate the colon as it irritates the peristaltic moments of the colon and this is useful in the constipation. But if you say for cleaning the you can extract the conclusion that Mineral oils can cleanse the colon.
If I am wrong please some one may correct me and guide me. I will accept it after proper discussion.

most labels read take at bedtime. I am home bound due to hysterectomy, so is there some hidden reason to only take at bedtime?

I've tried all the usual constipation remedies and am taking Mineral Oil which has helped but I don't know about the long term effects.
