- norco, tylenol, back pain, sciatica, surgery
Microdiskectomy surgery. If I take 20mg norco with 650mg tylenol every 6hrs am I still within safe range. Don't want to hurt my liver, but this dosage works very well pain wise. I go back july11 post op. I heard 1 person say not over 10 pills in 24 hrs. Then heard 8. Then 6. Just want to be safe. Thanks

The acetaminophen content is what is the most harmful. The maximum doseage of acetaminophen (or Tylenol) is 4000mg per 24 hours, 3000mg if you use alcohol at all. As long as you stay within this dose, you should be ok. 2 5/325mg tablets every six hours is the suggested maximum amount for Norco.
