My folks have a hard time opening the blister pack, and we would like to fill their weekly pill containers for them.
Does anyone know what happens to the chemical compound of the Micardis tablet, if we take it out of the blister pack ... a week supply at a time?

In an ideal world the tablets should be kept in the blister pack as it protects them. If you removed the tablets "a weeks supply at a time" and kept them at room temperature away from extreme heat, cold or damp they should be fine. Talk to your pharmacist if you are still unsure.

I remove them from the blister pack and fill my weekly pill container. I haven't had any problems.
