Metoprolol - I am not sure I need to be on this and do not feel right. My blood pressure usually was

Your blood pressure overall compared to what is considered hypertension still appeared to be within normal ranges for the average person though it may be higher than normal for you. Your diet and exercise habits along with the external environmental factors like stress could be elevating it. I'm not an MD but generally of you do research the general rule is that when your average BP is more than 140/90 it is considered hypertension. You want to talk to your MD of course but if you aren't liking the way the med is making you feel and I also think it might have been a little premature to start a beta blocker with those readings, i would ask about discontinuing it and look at the other factors that may be affecting it ie exercise, diet and stress.
