I have been on methadone for 2 years and have been taking ultram for a week. I have weaned down to about 20mg for the last few months. I now am taking about 3 to 4 50mg of ultram. How long can I take ultram before being addicted to ultram. allso how long will the severe withdrawal symptions last. I have 2 kids and cant take off work or I will lose my job Im in a bad place what should I do???

that is a lie.. at least for me tramadol is a breeze compared to the rest i think the guy was full of shit

I am afraid you weaned down your methadone too quickly if you are having severe withdrawal. I don't think any of us want to be on methadone. I give you credit for trying to come off.
But I don't think you cut back slow enough. Methadone is the hardest drug to stop. You may have to go back up on your dose. You shouldn't be in severe withdrawal. You can't live like that and shouldn't have to. Talk to your dr or counsler at your clinic. God Bless and Good Luck. Sable

Tramadol will make you have withdrawl from methadone don't take it it makes it worse. Just look up what you can and can't take with methadone. Been on it for 5 years.
tramadol makes methadone users withdrawl. DON'T TAKE IT. if your going to use, at least try to know everything about it, like what it doesn't mix with. Look up what is safe to take with methadone.
