It is possible that your pain is caused by a circulation problem, in the veins or arteries. I have similar pain and had some of the exterior veins closed off in my legs as the valves had gone bad. This was a very simple, outpatient procedure that had just about no pain or problems. Talk to your primary care doctor to see if you should be evaluated by a vein specialist, or vascular doctor. If your leg should become hot, swollen, inflamed, or very painful get to an emergency room as you may have a blood clot or infection and these are considered emergencies! If the pain has been there for awhile, then you can take the time to consult with your primary care doctor or seek out a vein specialist. Best wishes -

Dear Eliza, It is true that what you said. But recently on consulting my doctor I told her about my uric acid level in my blood and it is 7.2 and she adviced me to take Zyloric and since then I am taking it and I am feeling far better relief in my pain.
Great! Uric acid - that's interesting. I know that's what causes gout, but I didn't realize it could cause muscle pain. Well, what's important is that you got pain relief - yeah! Take good care -
