Hello,

Pentasa (mesalamine) is used in the treatment of ulcerative colitis; crohn's disease, maintenance; crohn's disease; ulcerative colitis, active; inflammatory bowel disease, and belongs to the drug class 5-aminosalicylates.

Mesalamine does not contain any steroids.
