I was on meridia and like many others I am very upset that it was taken off the market. It worked like a dream for me!!! DOes anyone know what is on the market now that is equivelent to meridia??? I look forward to hearing what others are using and if they are having any success with it. I have gained almost 10 pounds in 2months while off. UGHH! Any suggestions , PLEASE?!

I as well was a meridia patiient it was very sucessfull and enjoyed it. I also gained 10 lbs after been off only two months I pray to God that they put it on, I know it was expensive but it worked wonders for me too.Please im begging to put back on the market. Put IT BACK ON PLEASE!

Can Meridia cause a excess production of saliva?
I find that I am constantly swallowing saliva throughout the day. I also keep sucking on my cheeks and tongue. Really weird!

My doctor advised me to write to the manufacturer which in my country in Abbot. I phoned them and then wrote them a letter. They advised me to write to Health Canada. I did. Health Canada advised me to write to Abbott to have them do more studies to prove the drug is safe. I will be phoning and writing and phoning and writing. Meridia did so much more for me than end a life-long losing battle. I don't know what is going to happen to me without it.
