Meperidine/Promethazine - If you are used to taking Lorcet 10mg daily, how will this medicine?

meperidine is demerol and is stronger than hydrocodone (lorecet) with tylenol. Long term use of demerol isn't a good idea as it usually leads to siezures. If it's just acute pain then a couple weeks is ok... Dave
