I would be asking my doctor for scans e.g. ultrasound. When you say you are not pregnant I assume you have taken a pregnancy test and not just assuming? Have you recently stopped taking a contraceptive like Depo Provera? Sometimes it takes time for periods to return to normal after discontinuing birth control. Please persist with your doctor and if you are not happy, ask for a second opinon. Your fertility is not something for your doctor to be complacent with, so good luck!

Did you recently stop taking Birth control, it takes your body time to get it's cycle back to normal. When I quit taking them in November it took until March for me to start getting regular periods. You probably have nothing to worry about, but please do go back to your gynecologist to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.
