Hello! I was diagnosed with major depression, and PTSD when I was 14 due to trauma in my life at age 5. I also am manic depressive, diabetic, have an ulcer, and arthritis. I was also diagnosed with fibro, but I am not so sure I have it. I also have an unknown type of neuropathy that gives me severe nerve pain non-stop that I am now going to a University similar to the Mayo where they are testing me to find out about my excruciating nerve pain. I also suffer from polymyositis and dermatomyositis as well have an anxiety disorder along with panic attacks. I have been on numerous antidepressants, psych, and anxiety meds for yrs. I am on oxy for my neuropathy pain. The meds I took for fibro which was 2400 mg of neuronton, 225 of lyrica and savella also didn't work. I seem to handle my physical issues pretty well except this horrible nerve pain I have. I use to be a high spirited high energy person, but now this pain is wearing me down, however, I will bounce back :) Even though I have all these issues I do not allow any of them to define who I am, as well I turn all my issues over to my creator who gives me true peace and strength deep within. Pain takes a mighty toll on us emotionally and physically, but try to never let it take hold of your spirit or define the unique precious person you are. I truly care for all my dc friends, and know how blessed I am to have you all. :) I am not online much, but when I am I do try to share any information, experiences with others as well I so much appreciate all the knowledge and support I receive from others.
