When you do, as I have (incidentally, mine was legally/illegally) prescribed by the legal drug pushers called Doctors and pharmacists who really don't give a shit about you and what you may be going through-they simply want your money. You can't get out of bed. Anxiety will hit you like a boulder thrown at your stomach. You are afraid to stay in your house and you are afraid to leave your house. METHADONE: No one, not even the so-called professionals (and I've been trying to kick this shit over 7 years so I have spoken to doctors, pharmacists, lab-techs,nurses, shrinks...THEY ARE CLUELESS AND UNSYMPATHETIC). Please, Please you lovely people. Don't make the same mistake(s) I did. PUT AS MUCH DISTANCE BETWEEN YOURSELF AND METHADONE AS YOU CAN. If you need groups, A/A AND N/A help while you find a doctor who understands what you are going through, although only we addicts really know the pitfalls of methadone. Do you think the lab-techs and researchers were experimenting with their own bodies while they created this shit? Hell No. They used mathematics. But we are not numbers.
