took heavy doses of opiates for back injury for many many years, on my way to being clean and sober.....yay!! I should add that i was on morphine anywhere from90 mg to 150mg a day plus 6 vicodin 7.5 a day for prob well over ten years. Off now, but hating my new normal....oh well.suffering through post acute withdrawl syndrome,it's pretty horrible. But I have hope it will get better. Now I am about 2 months out of stopping morphine and vicodin ( took a small amount of suboxone for a few weeks ) I hope my story will help out someone.
