I am a retired/disabled Master's level RN. I got a psychiatric disability and then a traumatic injury which has left me unable to work. When I worked, I was in ICU, ER AND TRAUMA. Ask me anything. I'll try to help you any way I can. I am still a little hippie girl. I love wearing flowers in my long strawberry blonde hair. I still wear blue jeans, t-shirts, Birkenstock sandals and patchouli oil. I love the lifestyle and freedom ... ask me anything you'd like to know ...I'll try to answer ...peace and let your freak flag fly..... Additionally, I am opiate dependent, thru no fault of my own ... I have PAIN. I have been on the following opiates with varying relief at one time or another : Tylenol #4's Norco and Vicodin Oxycodone and Oxycontin Hydromorhone and Oxymorphone Fentanyl patches I personally have a lot of experience with these opiates. I injured my back at work, have severe osteoarthritis, lumbar stenosis, cervical stenosis, R TKA on 8/10, reconstructed right shoulder (falling down a flight of stairs in 1/11), tore all my tendons,rotator cuff and broke the head of my humerus 8/11,(fun stuff), and other assorted ailments ... but I'm still a lot of fun. I'm doing fine right now with my psych issues, which include bipolar, borderline personality disorder(I don't think so), PTSD, OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, panic attack disorder, psychotic episodes, agoraphobia to name a few and chronic pain stuff ... so if u think I might b able to help u ... I'm right here in sunny Florida, living the high life, with my man, on the golf course.... ASK ME! And I happen to be reliving my hippiehood with long flowing hair, dresses, hand made clothes, gardening, writing everything in my journal, loving my two joyous, marvelous, kind, loving, genius, raised by a hippie mom children, knittng, crocheting, quilting,cooking, and last but not least, learning how to deal with my mental illness and pain issues....sometimes it is fun, sometimes not. I have gotten so much love and support from my cohorts here on here, wouldn't go anywhere else...... Imagine all the people living life in peace......you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.......one day you will join us.........and the world will live as one......Laura
