MorphoneGurl's comment: Yes, it does treat pain as well as detox, but Methadone is highly addictive, and worse to come off of than your typical opiate i.e hydrocodone, oxycodone, morpheine... Therefore, as a healthcare professional, I wouldn't recommend it UNLESS you take ...
