What are the pros and cons of switching from Depakote ER to the generic divalproex sodium?

donnaponson's response: I had the worst seizure of my life after getting on generic form only 1 week later. Blood work revealed on 30% meds in my system vs 93% with real dep er. Be very carful generic products differ with each person.
