Does amphetamine/dextroamphetamine work immediately or does it need to buildup like some meds?

RxPharmer's answer: It will work immediately. As early as 15 minutes for some to notice, or at most 45 minutes to an hour. There is some slight buildup, but the half-life is short enough that it is insignificant.
