I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression. Just got diagnosed in January 2011. I suspect that I have probably had this since childhood. I not only take medication, I go to therapy, which for me has been a lifesaver for me. I go through a few side effects, but I look at it this way...it's just a small price to pay for some peace and sanity.
