I am a 55 year old female, wife for 27 years, mother of three gorgeous sons, grandmother of two precious grandsons, one precious granddaughter. I've been a nurse for 27 years now, addicted to pain meds for the past 15 years. I've been taking 16mg. Of Suboxone for the past two years and counting. Started taking pain meds for migraines, took way too much so eventually became addicted to them. Now I'm living a fairly normal life on the Suboxone. Ironic thing here is the fact that when I used to work as a nurse I would list the narcotic pain meds on my record so that whenever they tested me for drugs, if mine showed up they wouldn't take my license. But now, I'm taking the Suboxone so that I do not want to take any narcotics, but if the Suboxone shows up on a drug test they will take my license. It's just not a fair world!!! Oh well, so far so good. It is what it is.
