Hi there! Glad to see you! My name's Wendy. I live in Ontario, CANADA.
I take Zytram (Tramadol) 75 mg & Wellbutrin 300 mg daily to try to manage my chronic pain. I've been ill since June 2008.
I've had some blood clots in the past so I'm now using Coumadin (Warfarin) again, which my body doesn't like. Coumadin doesn't like me either. :(
The specialist I've been seeing presently seems to be genuinely sympathetic to my pain. It's an extremely slow process to try to restore myself near where I used to be. My fine motor skills are coming back. My brain isn't so foggy now so I can think more clearly, remember things & focus better. My brain's picking up speed! HA HA HA HA
The specialist did tell me that I'm in a hypercoaguable state & will always have to use Warfarin.
I'm still having generalized pain & usually feel extremely swollen & tender & sore & especially when I have to do ANYTHING other than sit on my royal you-know-what. LOL
I HATE having to leave my house at all right now~~~it's way too much effort; I know I'll be pain later or feeling so crappy & left wondering "Was that even worth it?". (The answer is no LOL). I have trouble walking (I'm a bit weebly wobbly at the moment LOL). I realize that I DO have to move to get better. The DVT 2 years ago in March really threw me for a loop! Actually, more like 5 concentric helixes of varying sizes & heights~~~I was once again spiralling along a curve!
Stop the world! I wanna get off! HELP!!! :(
Thank you for reading this. I don't mean to sound so melodramatic or maudlin; I realize that's how this profile may be perceived. I AM trying to move in a forward motion. {{{{{which way's straight ahead?}}}}}
One day, I'll get there! (if I can only stop walking backwards so much LOL) HA HA HA (the sooner the better!) :)
I'll leave you now, dear reader, with these wise words to live by:
"Never give up,
Never give in.
Onward & upward
With strength from within." author unknown
