Lagatavasquez's comment: I hope your wife has gone in to seen the doctor and if possible get her to and Endocrinologist to help her with her diabetic situation because her glucose leavels are very high and can be very harmful

Can a mealtime Humalog injection still be given if a person is ill and not eating?

Lagatavasquez's answer: if you check her glucose level and it is over the 120 yes I would give it to her but I would check with her Doctor and follow her doctor order I am just a certified Nurse Assistant. just try for her to eat something
