I am a 43 year old mother and wife. I am 3 years sober from alcohol. 3 years ago I became an opiate addict. I started innocently enough taking Vicodin (dr prescribed) just a little for migraines. But the rebound effect kept me taking more and more til I was taking 9 pills a day, and without pain relief. My GP cut me off and sent me to a addiction sp. He put me on SUBOXONE and SUBUTEX. I was on that until surgery, when I opted to stop the sub so I could take narcotics after surgery. And that's where I'm at now. I also suffer from GAD, SAD, depression. I'm joining as many groups as I can, and already have learned so much. I feel blessed to have found this site.
