My name is Anna, from SC. I am 30 yrs old. I got addicted to pain meds such as lortabs, percosets, and darvoset. I am 3 & 1/2 yrs clean after checking in to a methadone treatment center in July '07. I was becoming discouraged, because methadone had taken atoll, physically, mentally, and emptionally over my life. It was effecting those closest to me too. I have now been onthis sight a year, and i have made great friends for life here. I am sooooo happy to announce that I went to Novus Detox in FL, and have now been clean 20 days as of today 10/22/11. It was the most comfortable detox ever. I felt like I was on vacation for the most part. They detoxed me off methadone and xanax in 12 days. Once I was clean i lost twenty pounds and have a renewed self confidence of myself and feel normal for the first time in 15 yrs. I can now give great advice on coming off methadone, benzos, sub, and many other stuff I joined to get support and give support and knowledge to others just by lifes lessons. GOD BLESS ALL!!!
