I am a very emotional driven person. I worked all of my life with patients of a state hospital. Not on a nurses level. Direct care. I was one of the ones that got too involved and they became like family to me. For 28 yrs they were a part of my life. Around 10 yrs in I became one of them. I began to suffer from depression myself and had to go on meds for it. It is a constant struggle with drugs, side effects and keeping my sanity. I did wind up in the same hospital I worked at for so many years asking for help. Managed to claw my way back up and continue working there. I am looking to help and at times be helped by others touched by depression and other disorders.
