I'm 54 yrs. into this life. I've been a doper since 1970. There's not much I havn't experimented with and perfected. In other words I wasn't into experimentation I was into full scale research. I had a quadruple bypass in 2001, and had 5 stints put in me in 2008. I work offshore in a highly physical job but lately I'm using my experiance more than my back. I've been on pain med.'s for over a decade although I've always abused them. I'm currently on suboxone and have high, ( no pun intended), hopes of getting on with my life clean and sober. I have always been able to hide my using from the boss but co-workers should be able to tell that I was prochoice when it came to med.'s/drugs as long as it didn't interfere with the job. What someone does on their time shouldn't be an issue was my old philosophy. I am sure that I had that wrong since I'm looking for help with my own little issues from you guy's. If I can help anyone out there,( I was pretty slick with the drug test thing), please let me know and I'll try my hardest to get you the answer you need. Be forewarned that i really do believe that drugs are a downhill spiral for any and everyone. Pot is another story but to keep a job you gotta quit. The suboxone seems to help for that craving too believe it or not.
