marsha79's answer: no it is not a benzodiazapine.It is classified as a SSRI(a selective seretonin reuptake inhibiter)It is not addictive.

marsha79's comment: well... seroquel is sedating,but it is not a drug that is abused(it has no abuse potential)klonopin and other benzos are highly addictive and the body builds a tolerance to it quickly.There are not too many reputable doctors that prescribe a benzo ...
