tglidewell's answer: I have fibro. I read about the Mucinex thing and asked my rheumetologist (the best in my area) about it. She said that it has a placebo effect on some people, but there is nothing proven. Apparently the guy who "discovered" this is now going around ...

tglidewell's answer: Yes, I take it "as needed" for my headaches. It works great. I used to take Excedrin Migraine, but can't now because of a bleeding ulcer. The butapapcaf/fiorcet is easier on my stomach.
