after a 2 story fall injuring my knees i tried to take motion,aspirin u name it.after 2 months of that i was in so much pain i went a doctor he told me to go right to the hospital where they operated on me that day. after 1more operation i was told that i would never walk normal or pain free again.my doctor put me on a drug called kadian 50mg 2x daily.1month later my doc incressed my dose to 100mg 2x daily. month after month my tolerance grew to 400 mg. after4 years of morphine, i could not eat,i lost weight from 165 lbs down to 138lbs.i could not sleep and i was up for days at a time.i finally went a detox where they wanted to put me on methadone.i was scared, tired and still in pain.methadone was one of the choices the doctors gave me.i tried all kinds of combination of drugs. the detox doc suggested i see their psychiatrist. that same day they had stopped all my meds saying we dont think we can help you and it was time to leave.that was 10 days into my detox.the next moring i saw all my doctors at once,and i thought i was going home.that was the first time i heard the name suboxone.i stayed there 20 more days and was put on suboxone.the first time i took half an 8mg pill and felt nothing. then they gave me the other half. i started to fell kinda weird.later on that day they gave me 8 more mg.that was the beginning of my new life.i made an appointment with a methadone and suboxone clinic to get on when i left vally fordge medical center.the name of the place is aldie and its in doylestown pa. all i can say is this place is saving my sanitary and my life. it has been 9 months and i have my pain and my addiction under control.i can't even begin to tell you how my life has improved I thank GOD,VFMC,ALDIE TREATMENT CENTER and SUBOXONE for letting me get my life back.a little more of my story if you can handle it.the people who had enough trust in me,i owe my thanks and my life to my,doctor angela walker,james greves my counseler,shareen berty for having faith in me from the start and the nurses and staff.
