nkelto's comment: I have read and heard numerous things about avoiding ibuprofen while on coumadin. I am not a doctor, but I don't take it anymore. Which is a shame because it works better for me than acetaminophen.

nkelto's answer: My cardiologists and doctors have always said not to take ibuprofen, but only Tylenol/acetaminophen if necessary since I am on warfarin.

nkelto's answer: I was prescribed nifedipine to treat high blood pressure several years ago. It did the trick and kept it under control. After I had heart surgery in 2005, the nifedipine was unnecessary.
