My name if Jeff, I'm 35 years old, and I suffer from Anxiety, Depression, C-PTSD (that I'm not going to repeat the cycle), and finally Fibromyalgia (one of the very few guys out there with a 9 to 1 ratio). Due to the meds that I take, I have to also take something to keep me awake, originally it was 250mg of Nuvigil, but now after being laid off, I take 60mg of Ritalin due to the cost and lack of insurance. Most of my conditions are very much under control at this point.

It feels good to talk (write) and bounce ideas, especially about illnesses that are generally considered to be things not to be talked about, which really is a shame. It's ok to talk about a broken arm, but not ok to talk about problems regarding emotional conditions. This has at least been my general experience as a whole. It seems that it's very ok to talk about things that can be put under a microscope and or x-rayed, but if that is not the case, then it seems to be something that is generally shunned. I look forward to sharing my personal experiences as well as talking with whomever is willing! I also look forward to opinions that differ from my own, as I have no interest in talking to myself (in other words, don't worry, you can't offend me, but I will respond if I disagree or simply don't understand. For that matter, if I feel that I was wrong, I'll be the first one to admit it as well! I hope that I am able to help others and give the best advise that I can, although I would never claim to have the expertise of any sort of doctor or therapist.
