Dont use someone elses drops. they could be contaminated and cause you even more problems and even though the symptoms may have been the same they may be two separate conditions. Call around and get price checks from different pharmacies-you might find one that offers a generic that you can afford. Worse comes to worse, ask your Dr if he has samples. Let him know you cant afford the meds and see if he can give you samples. never a good idea to use someone elses leftover drugs.

Honey, when we were little the old women would do all kinds of stuff to ya. Just not long ago my husbands ear was hurting, someone said warm sweet oil and put in it!!! Yeah right, not me. I have drops from the doc.We need to start a threat of old stuff people use to use to treat diffrent things with it would be fun just to see what people did. Von
Actually the sweet oil thing does work. My mom used to do that to us when we were little. the only thing with both of these treatments is that they can be very dangerous if you have a perforated ear drum (or hole in the eardrum)
The peroxide treatment works well for swimmers ear or infection of the ear canal. the sweet oil will help even with a middle ear infection.
Been there done that with warm sweet oil. My grandmother got me using it.
