It just depends on what your doctor advised you to do. The on and off shouldn't be hard on your body but if your doctor said to take it continuously throughout your travels then you should take it continuously. In terms of cover (if you have enough doses) it will probably be best for you to take it without a break to be absolutely sure that you are protected.
