I have not tried magnesium but may do so. I do know on a blood test last week my potassium level was high & the doctor told me to cut down on bananas to see if would help. I have an irregular beat that may last for days or other times a few minutes. Was told if I am on coumadin it would prevent a stroke & not to worry. At first it really made me upset so was given a nerve pill (xanax). It helped calm me down & now when it goes irregular it annoys me but I no longer am afraid..
