Would taking protein (G-Cap)that facilitate synthesis of growth hormone worsen AMD condition?

I have been injected with monthly Lucentis for the past nine months and after starting taking G-cap for a month, the AMD condition seems to get worse.

My dad has wet macular degeneration (now stabilized). Is Plavix dangerous for him to take?
