I have the bluish tinge in my nails and fingers, I stopped taking the tablet and the rash has stopped itching, I have a really bad cough and shortness of breath an a burnt furrie tongue and mouth throat and gums. every time I cough I am wetting myself everywhere. I sound like a real winger but I am so over it. does anyone know what I can take to fix my mouth

Hello,
I suggest you have someone take you to the ER or simply Call 911.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Macrodantin:

hi dumbassbird,
sounds like u are allergic to this medication, it's a good thing u stopped..being it sunday u can't call your doctor, so i would call the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what he/she recommends for your mouth, tell them everything u told us, i am sure they will be able to help u.. i would also call the dr. tommorow and let him no what happened, but the shortness of breath is something that concerns me, it it were me, i think i would go to the er and be checked for why i am having the severe coughing and definitely the shortness of breath!!

Hi Angel I think Ive worked out what the cough is about I think the tablet loosend the congestion in my lungs. because I do smoke and I am 69 and I do have lung problems, Naughty girl Iknow. Thank you for your advise.

The blue tinge means not enough oxygen, hypoxia. This is deadly and can cause brain damage if too low. Go now. Let us know later how you are.

I did'nt now it was that bad the blue tinge has gone and every thing has cleared up but still very short of breath.I'm still here maybe thats a good sign.
