Macrodantin - how many hours between doses?

Around a 6 hour gap between the dose should be ok, however please do talk to the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med.

It depends on how it is ordered. Macrodantin is usually ordered 4 times a day and in this case you would take a capsule every 6 hours. Some forms of Nitrofurantoin (the name of the drug in macrodantin) are to be used twice a day which would be every twelve hours. If it is ordered three times a day then you would want to take every eight hours. So it really depends on how your Dr has ordered it.
