If your a women are you on estrogen replacement, I had been non lupron on and off numours times for ovarian remnant syndrome, ovarian cysts. I could not sleep it is chemically indused menopause My doctor put me on estorgen add back therapy at that time I was in my late thirties. I felt better when we found the right dosage which took months.

i had 2 lupron depot injections before my total hysterectomy. its been 1 yr 5 months and i have severe short term memory loss, anxiety, even had a panic attack after i was sent home from work. Its like either the surgery shot or combo destroyed my life! I used to be a runner, loved my job (still do) but i cant function very well. I lose my train of thought, etc. Just started hormone replacement therapy Hopefully this will help me if not ill know the lupron did the damage! I am not allowed to go back to work Dr orders On fmla. gonna find out in a week or so how im doing with the hrm.I got serious emotional problems since. I am a mess. Never thought anything like this could happen to me! I used to be so healthy emotionally & physically. I wanna go back... im praying i can reverse this

I went thru the same symptoms, awful. I am a respiratory therapist and needed my mind to be sharp, I also had insomnia night sweats the works. I think you will be ok once your HRT kicks in. It might take a while to find the right amount for you. I hope you can get your life back I know what you are going thru.
Has anything gotten better? I had the shot three times after my surgery in May 2007. I am a mess. I used to have a career and was very active too. Since I've received the shot I've suffered from severe depression. It feels like I'm dragging through every day. I have a lot of trouble sleeping. My periods are just as bad if not worse. I was an elementry school teacher and had to give up my job and move in with my parents because I couldn't function. I now have a part time minimum wage job where I have a lot of problems because of the pain and the crying. I cry all the time and feel so tired. I've tried exercise and have been on numerous antidepressants that haven't worked and the side effects made me feel worse. I guess I came on here looking to see if there were others who are suffering like I am.

I tracked down the lawyer in Florida who handled the lawsuits a few years ago and he said that these cases were too expensive to try and that the women involved were never going to get better. I wish my doctor had told me about the lawsuits before she put me on this medication. I've been reading a lot of books on depression and natural cures lately because I really believe that is the best way to go at this point. One thing that has helped is deep breathing exercises at night. I am finally sleeping through the night with just 10mg of melatonin. If you have found anything helpful I would love to hear about it. One of the worst things is feeling like I'm alone in all of this.
