My mother was place on Lovenox injection for having a cluster of blood clots that ended up in her left lung. From surgery she had back in April. The clots were not detected until she had pre testing for another surgery, which ended up being cancelled for now. (stage 1 overran cancer)
The 5-day supply for Lovenox injections cost her $270.00 one time, another time $380.00, and now it's $489.00 ALL FOR A FIVE DAY SUPPLY of Lovenox. This is a huge amount of money for every 5-days. Where can one get help?

see if the medication has a webpage, if it does, look for a prompt that says something like, patient assistance program or here to help. If the med itself doesn't have a webpage, go to the manufacturers webpage and look for this prompt it is usually at the bottom of the page, many drug companies do help with rx costs, scroll all over that page until you find it and click that link or prompt.

Ok, just checked, it does have a webpage, lovenox.com and all the way at the very very bottom in blue text, it says contact us, click that. There is also further up on the page a prompt saying my dr rxed lovenox, now what or something like that, it is on the right side, click that to see if there is a hidden prompt under that that might help.
I went to the web site and found the contact info. And patience assistance program phone number. Will call in the morning with my Mom with me. In case they ask questions, I do not have the info on. Thank you for your time. I will be on this.
