I've been on lotrel for several years. I want to find a natural way (vitamins, diet, exercise, etc) to stop taking lotrel and other drugs. Lotrel side effects for me have been mild, but still a problem.

If your blood pressure is at a level where you needed Lotrel then it would be hard for you to control it with just vitamins, diet and exercise. Please let your doctor know that you intend to come of Lotrel and he/she can decide whether is is right for you. If your blood pressure is very high without the medicines then it may not be appropriate to even experiment going off the medicines.
Diet and exercise will help but don't know to what extent for you.
