Shouldistop or continue I am htn paitient and undergone angioplasty injan2000. Iam occasionally advised to take roseday(statin). My consultant has asked me to continue losartan potassium 50 mg. I am having swollen body & recently weight increased can I stop or use losartan kindly advise me.I am not diabetic and 60 years of age.my kneejointis not allowing me to walk.which iused to do daily for long.

I would suggest that you see your doctor. They need to see you and make a decision whether you can stop taking it or can continue to take it. They may be able to change the medication and put you on something else that won't cause the side effects you are experiencing.
