Loratadine - is loratidine safe if it is taken by the patient with kidney failure while pregnant?

I'd not risk taking Loratadine with both kidney failure (which is listed as a warning about the drug - it says take it with caution if you have kidney disease or failure). But since you are also pregnant, I just wouldn't risk it because any added stress on the body will affect the fetus, and could cause miscarriage.
There are many other allergy meds out there, and tons of effective nasal sprays, that aren't processed through the kidneys. I'd go to your doc ASAP and ask for a prescription of allergy medication that does not affect your kidneys and is safe to take during pregnancy.
