It was before Excedrin. Stand Back was also around. It was used for headaches.

Hello ejmpir. Not certain if this is any help to you but in Canada there was the 222. The pill was white, round and had the number 222 etched on it. It was aspirin and contained codine. That was during the 50's and the 60's. It was sold OTC and came in a vial container. best to you.
