I had left my script at a hotel on vaxcation and called an emergency on-call doctor. He said you do not get withdrawals from ritalin and that it only stays in your system 1 - 4 hours.

The effects of Ritalin wear off in four to six hours, but as for its half-life, it should be out of your system in 12 hours. If someone is testing you for drugs, they would have to perform a very specific - and expensive - test to find it in your system. Hope this helps. All the best,
Philip
