Depo-Provera can affect fertility for several months. It depends on how long you were on it and even then every woman is different. Most women are able to get pregnant in the year following the cessation of their injections. Some can become pregnant right away and some it takes up to 18 months. You do not have to have regular periods to get pregnant. If you have ovulated, you can get pregnant whether or not you had a period or not!
