The chances of becoming pregnant when using Lo/Ovral-28 are low providing you have taken the pills at the same time every day, not missed any pills and used a non-hormonal form of back-up contraception for the first seven days.

If you did not use another form of contraception during the first seven days of the pack and you had sex during that time, the chances of becoming pregnant are increased as the Lo/Ovral-28 can't be considered effective. Normally conception occurs mid-cycle so you would have to be unlucky to fall pregnant during that time.
