I have the following query which I hope someone can help me with.
Have a friend whose having a blood test tomorrow in which he WANTS the following drugs to show up on;
Escitalpram (Lexapro)
Mirtazapine (Mirap)
Basically the scenario is that he had been prescribed them due to some anxiety/stress issues but has resisted taking them as he would prefer to use them as a last resort (despite having a genuine problem). Theres a legal issue in them not showing up in tomorrows blood test. If he has taken 5mg of Lexapro today and will take the Mirap tonight - is that enough that they will show up clearly in tomorrows bloodtest?
If they do show up, will they show up in sufficient concentrations to suggest that both of these drugs have been used on a continuous basis for the last few months?
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Theres a strong possibility it will not. he should of taken them 48 hrs before the testing and continued to take them up until the testing. If he doesnt take the drugs, then he should be upfront with his dr, so he can get the help he really needs..
