Oxycodone is considered stronger than hydrocodone as far as opiates go for pain.

I was on hydrocodone, & my doctor moved me to oxycodone & it really helps so much better, plus it eliminates the tylenol problem as it doesn't have it...

It really depends on the person.For me it is vicoden but for alot of people it is oxycodone.So I guess you could say it varies from person to person.Let me know how things work out whatever it is your doctor decides.I am glad to see that there is other people wanting to know some of the same things I do.
